My Name is Max Griffin

I always had a competitive drive, but I didn’t see myself in team sports. I wanted to have the ball, call the shots, have everything riding on my shoulders, all the time. I played soccer and horsed around with my friends but really all I wanted to do was watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — and when indulging in a favorite episode I realized, I could do that!
My dad put me in martial arts at the young age of 4 and I found a sport that I was in total control of and quickly became good at.
I carved a path of destruction throughout the western United States and in 2016 when the premier organization in the sport gave me a call, I happily signed on to fight alongside the best in the world. I was recently ranked with the second highest Takedown Accuracy among active welterweights in my division and with 7 wins by knockout, I’m eighth highest in striking too. I have a habit of producing power packed highlight reels and a recent article is quoted to say that I was “respected by (my) his peers and universally recognized as a consummate pro and a perennial tough out”
Battle requires more preparation than most would think. There are at least 3 training sessions a day at multiple gyms and dojo’s. I have dedicated time for recovery of the body, mind and warrior spirit, all the while and most importantly maintaining a balance with my support team, my family. I’m able to stay authentic, show extreme discipline and continue to grow.
I’m a loyal Sacramentian and have earned the respect of my city. When I’m not training, you can find me looking for outdoor adventure or on a foodie quest.
I believe in the power of positive energy and strive to be a role model in the community encouraging everyone to pursue their dreams with confidence and determination.
I get to do this, EVERY DAY and be the best version of myself. And when I’m this way, I can beat anybody.
I am now more ready and more confident.
I don’t care who is in front of me, they’re gonna get wasted. I like to leave them hanging by a thread — PAIN — viewer discretion advised.
